Example: I am most helpful to anyone who would like to continue serving their country, either in Government Service or as a Government Contractor. Specifically, I have extensive experience with mentoring individuals interested in living in the Washington DC metropolitan area and working in the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community (IC), Geospatial-Intelligence, and Information Technology (IT) Project Management. I also have experience with the Defense Acquisition University, Project Management Institute, and attending college at night. This education has led to receiving the following credentials: a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), Level III certification in Pre-Award Contracting, DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management, and Project Management Professional (PMP). Lastly, I was an Active Marine Reservist in addition to holding down my day job. Recently, I have added advising new mentors and reviewing job offer letters in preparation for salary negotiations. So, if you have a couple of these goals or interests for your transition, I may be the right mentor for you.
